About Us
Western Skies Guest Ranch is owned and operated by Craig and Anna Onstott. We are located on 40 acres on Fruitland Mesa, approximately 8 miles west of Crawford Colorado.
We are open May 1, 2021 through the end of hunting season in late November. (Hunting is not permitted on the property).
Our property is different than hotels nearby. Come and enjoy our incredible views of the West Elk Mountains, the North Fork of the Gunnison Valley, and Grand Mesa! More rooms are under construction at this time.
(Hunters are welcome as we are a short drive from Game Management Areas: 52, 53, 63, 521)
This is our first year of operation so there are various projects "in the works" around the property so please bear with us as we complete our improvements!
Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park
We are located just a few short miles from the north rim of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Tours of the area are self guided, however, guided tours can be provided for a nominal fee and by appointment only.
The North Fork Valley Wineries
Here on the western slope of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, the wineries are a must see and are typically open from Memorial Day through late October. Take a self guided tour or tour with us for a nominal fee to safely enjoy over a dozen wineries in the North Fork Valley. Tours are by appointment only.
